Inadequate sleep can hinder your ability to think, recall, and learn various things.

It can make you grumpy and increase your chances of having disagreements with people.
4. You’ll have decreased life quality.
You may find it challenging to engage in regular everyday activities or workouts.
5. Increased risk of car accidents.
According to the NHTSA, drowsy driving causes thousands of crashes, injuries, and deaths. Your health may suffer in the long run if you continue to work without getting enough rest. High blood pressure, diabetes, a heart attack, heart failure, or a stroke are some of the most severe consequences of prolonged sleep deprivation. Obesity, depression, immune system dysfunction, and decreased sex drive are some potential issues.

Short-term consequences:
1. It impairs our judgement capabilities and sharpness.
2. It negatively changes our mood.
3. It affects our ability to retain information and learn new things.
4. It increases the risks of getting injured and having accidents.
Long-term effects:
1. Gaining excessive weight over time
2. Increasing the risk of diabetes
3. Impairing cardiovascular health
4. Reducing life expectancy
In conclusion, if you do not get enough sleep, you may have to deal with several health issues in the long run. It can lower your perception and productivity levels, increase the number of errors you make, and impair your workplace performance.
