I hired a nurse for my ageing mother, and she showed up at her house as if she had just gotten out of bed. How much do you care about a clean and good appearance in a caregiver?
I work as a full-time caregiver, and while I shower every day, there have been times when I have glanced in the mirror after a terrible day and wondered why no one had commented on how my hair looked like I had crawled out of bed. On the other hand, my client is someone I meet every day and is familiar with me. Like anyone else, nurses have bad days too. I would recommend giving her a break as long as she can do her tasks.
