What are some fashion rules to never break?
• Oversized Times Two
Baggy clothes layered on top of baggy clothes never work. You see celebrities wearing this look in the tabloids; still, it doesn’t work for them, and it won’t work for you either. You can go oversized on top, wearing leggings on the bottom to balance it out. You can also do the opposite. Wide-legged pants or even sweatpants go well with fitted tops.
• Wide-Legged Pants Tucked Into Boots
Ladies, this isn’t Bootcamp. If your pants have a fuller calf, don’t tuck them. If your pants are bootcut, wear them over your boots. In case they are just a bit wide in the calf, roll them up above the top of the boot.
• Crocs with Socks
Crocs look wrong with socks. Keep your Crocs at home and wear closed-toed shoes when you need socks.
• Potty Mouth T + Cords
T-shirts with potty mouths either insult the world or refer to a person’s chest size. Wearing them with corduroy pants is disastrous. They are ultra-casual and aren’t suitable for anyone over 16.
