Care homes may have nursing care provided by registered nurses and experienced care assistants, or they may not have nursing care but still provide help and assistance in personal care. It is possible to live at either facility, often with your spouse, and care is always on-site. Social activities are offered to keep you active; there are no utility bills, chores, or meals to worry about as everything is covered. Most importantly, a care home is safer and more secure than your own home.
