What is the best diet for seniors who want to maintain a healthy and active life?
A fact altered my diet. I heard that when we age, our sense of thirst can decline, and we need to take enough water to prevent dehydration. I used to drink fruit juice and soda all day until I discovered diabetes. My doctor suggested that I drink more water and avoid juice because of my age.
You don’t want to face dehydration. You’ll have a dry mouth and tongue, and you will feel tired all day. We already feel tired sometimes, and there’s no room for a different cause in our age. I added water to my diet, and the slightest change would be sleeping better, which is a significant concern for most seniors.
