Does travelling make a good hobby?

Travelling provides enjoyable ways to encounter various cultures while making fun memories. You might not even realize how unique your own culture is until you travel to the other side of the globe and see how differently people live. Speaking of people, you may also make new friendships along the way.
Sure, you might not be able to see them all the time, but they make your travels far more memorable and fun. You might even take an interest in the language of the place you travel to. My best friend visited France last year, and even though he’s not planning to move there, he has signed up for several French courses over the past year.
Travelling isn’t just about the fun you have. It also helps you get comfortable with the uncomfortable. As someone who finds answering unknown calls stressful, getting by in a foreign country makes my usual problems look far more insignificant. Yes, moving from one place to another has its share of troubles, but ultimately, it helps us get better at facing our problems. Plus, it makes you appreciate the comfort of your home country and your town.
