If you are unable to make a word in Scrabble, what will happen?

You can choose between one and seven tiles to swap on your turn instead of playing a word. At least seven tiles must still be in the bag for this to work. Remember that you can’t exchange your tiles if you are near the end of the game or six or fewer tiles remain. By exchanging tiles, you are forming a word in that round. You’ll need to wait until your next turn before you can place an expression or exchange your tiles again.
