In what ways do professional and casual players differ when playing Scrabble?
I don’t know the fundamental difference between pro and casual players. After some observation, I found something. As a high-level tournament Scrabble player, you learn dozens or hundreds of possible bingo words (words that take up all seven tiles in your rack), and you always look at the board for bingo possibilities on every turn. Most casual Scrabble players see bingo as a rare achievement, something to strive for once or twice in a game. For dedicated players, every round has the potential to be bingo. They are pretty proficient at scoring them because of their time studying the Scrabble vocabulary.
