Top 10 Physiotherapy Clinics for Seniors in Vancouver [update2023]

Can you believe that Physiotherapy has been around for thousands of years?

In 460 BC, Hippocrates used water therapy to treat patients and invented this commonly used practice, which is still used and favoured thousands of years later. The question is, is there any ailment out of their reach?

Seniors may suffer from a range of issues, including arthritis, back pain, joint pain, muscle stiffness, ligament damage, inflammation, and lack of mobility. And they all can be treated, prevented, or managed by physiotherapy. Physiotherapy is a form of rehabilitation involving various physical techniques to help individuals recover from injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. These techniques can include exercise, manual therapy, education, and other interventions designed to improve function, mobility, and quality of life.

Please add more reviews about elderly-friendly services and places. İt is also good to talk about accessibility options.

WoW! it was a great article; my grandson introduced the helpful livingmaples to me. We need such an informational website. Because in some emergency cases, we need to do something quickly. Now, thanks to this helpful website, I saved these numbers on my phone.

I feel the same. I had to go through many web pages, spending lots of time finding articles related to seniors, but this website has made it easy to have access to plenty of helpful info.

I highly recommend UBC Physical Therapy and Research Clinic; if you chose to go there, ask for Sally, she is caring and an honest professional.

I need to know the reasons for choosing these places. Is it based on the patients’ reviews, or were there also other factors involved? Personally, I trust nothing more than the honest reviews of the patients when it comes to choosing a medical center.

Hello, Charlie. It’s a good thing you value honest reviews of actual people over the fanciness of a company’s advertisements. I Believe the choices made in this article are all based on other people’s experiences since there is a quotation of what the patients of these places say about them.

It is a very informative article. The review of people who experience each of which doctors can be pretty informative too.

I have never suffered from physical problems, and fortunately, never entered into a physical therapy clinic. However, I find the article so informative. Thanks for sharing!

I went to the Myodetox Fraser after injuring my knee on a hiking trip. After completing a personalized program, I was able to get back to running, hiking, and climbing without knee pain.
The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and very respectful.
The location has great modern decor, and I always feel warmly welcomed. It is always clean, and the vibe is awesome.
I also like that you can access your training program online if you forget the correct form after your session.

My grandmother recovered from back pain last year. She is much better now. My uncles participated in her rehabilitation program because we all believe participating in an older adult rehabilitation program is crucial to restoring strength, reducing pain and enhancing the quality of life. We all know that exercise has lots of mental health benefits because it can lessen the pain of stress and depression by releasing endorphins. So we bought a pair of walking boots for her last month. I am so happy for her.

Does anybody know a private physiotherapist? Due to my condition, I’m not able to get out of the house. Thank you in advance if you suggest it to me.

Great list. I have some experience with UBC; they are affordable professionals…
Although PT students offer treatments in training, the quality is the same as for professionals, if not better. A professional physiotherapist leads each session and checks to ensure we are on a good track. I visited them for my shoulder injury for four sessions, and the exercise programs and massage therapy they gave me have been beneficial in terms of building strength and relieving my pain.
So I would highly recommend them to anyone having mobility and strength issues; give this UBC clinic a try!

I felt so excited when I saw the Go! Physiotherapy is on your list. It surely deserves to be on the best physiotherapy list. The Go! physiotherapy was like my second home last year. After a terrible car accident, I had to take so many physiotherapy sessions to fix the damage caused by the crash on my spinal cord and my neck joints. I swear I couldn’t move my neck even a millimeter! However, it takes so long to get better, but without the help and compassion of my therapists in Go! Physiotherapy, I couldn’t make it!
